Crock-Pot Seasoning Mixes Bring Holiday Cheer to Crockin' in the USA Contest Winner with Free Groceries for a Year

PARSIPPANY, N.J. - (BUSINESS WIRE) - Kitchens across America have been Crockin', rockin' and rollin' this slow cooking season! Crock-Pot Seasoning Mixes hosted its first ever "Crockin' in the USA" campaign this fall, encouraging families to get into the kitchen and create tasty recipes using one of the new Crock-Pot Seasoning Mixes. The competition was fierce with hundreds of recipes entered, but the results have left mouths watering across the United States.

Following the November 25th deadline, food blogger and contest judge Hope Comerford, along with the brand's Facebook fans, voted for their favorite recipe. After much delicious deliberation, Sherri Williams of Crestview, Florida was crowned Crockin' in the USA Champion for her "Braised Beef Short Ribs" featuring Savory Pot Roast Crock-Pot Seasoning Mix.

"My inspiration was to make a hearty, stick-to-your-ribs, tasty meal for my husband that would not require spending hours in the kitchen," says Sherri. "I work full time so I was able to prep everything the night before and just throw it into my Crock-Pot slow cooker along with the Seasoning Mixes. When I got home, I just added final touches and dinner was served! The Crock-Pot Seasoning Mixes make a perfect, easy seasoning solution during the busy holiday season."
