Thousands Gather in Los Angeles for the Biggest Pro-LIFE Celebration in America

LOS ANGELES - (BUSINESS WIRE) - Iconic Dodger Stadium in Los Angeles came alive on Sunday afternoon, November 18, 2012, as more than 8,000 people turned out for "go2bat4LIFE," the largest pro-LIFE party in America. The event was presented by LIFEsocal, a non-profit organization formed in 2009 by a group of high school and college students dedicated to making the pro-LIFE cause more socially mainstream by hosting fun, youth-targeted events.

After welcoming messages from Dodger baseball legends Tommy Lasorda and Vin Scully, Integrity Music recording artist Lincoln Brewster rocked the stadium crowd. Opening for Lincoln Brewster were the Gospel reggae act Christafari, and the teen sensation band Canto.

LIFEsocal Executive Director Carol Golbranson commented, "The idea behind go2bat4LIFE was to do something that was unique, fun, and that put a fresh face on the pro-LIFE cause-I think we hit it out of the park! You could feel the energy in the stadium and you could see on the faces in the crowd, a renewed commitment to stand up for LIFE. I'm not sure how we are going to top this event in the future, but we are certainly going to try."
