UnitedHealth Group Names Marianne D. Short Chief Legal Officer

MINNETONKA, Minn. - (BUSINESS WIRE) - UnitedHealth Group (NYSE: UNH) has named Marianne D. Short executive vice president and chief legal officer, effective January 1, 2013.

Ms. Short, Managing Partner at the firm Dorsey & Whitney LLP, replaces Richard N. Baer, who is returning to his home in Denver, Colorado, to become General Counsel at Liberty Media Corporation.
